Biblical Studies Foundations Bundle
The Bible didn't fall out of the sky. It was written by real people, in real places, with real agendas, and that context changes everything. This bundle gives you the scholarly foundation that seminaries teach but pulpits rarely mention.
You'll start by getting a grip on the world of the New Testament: who was in charge, what daily life looked like, and why the political and cultural backdrop of the first century matters for what Jesus and his followers were actually saying. From there you'll dig into one of the most important and least discussed questions in biblical scholarship: who actually wrote the Bible? The answer is more complicated, and more interesting, than you were probably told. You'll look at how the Old Testament came together over centuries of editing and compilation, and what that process tells us about the texts themselves. And you'll go all the way back to Genesis to ask what those early stories were really doing and for whom.
The Bible makes a lot more sense when you know where it came from.
