Making of the Modern Mindset: How Did We Get Here?

Making of the Modern Mindset

Exclusive Class for Members of the Society of Normal People

What if understanding the Bible means more than just reading the ancient text? What if it’s about exploring our world today and how it shapes our thoughts about Scripture? Where do our views on authority, tradition, ethics, and identity even come from—and how do these views influence the way we interpret the Bible?

Join us as we dive into the Middle Ages, Modernity, and Postmodernity, unraveling how Western Protestants inherited their form of Christianity and how it’s evolved over the last 75 years. Together we’ll explore how these cultural shifts continue to impact our understanding of ancient texts and examine how the forces of our time shape the faith we practice today.
