Have you ever said to yourself, “AHHHHHHHHHH there are so many great books out there I want to read and I don’t have time to get to most of them but I’m tired of being dumb”? Yup. So have we. There are so many great thinkers and great books out there, but like you we only have so many hours in the day. And so welcome to our new feature to help us address this problem, “Author Spotlight.”

As often as we are able we will feature a book that gives a fresh perspective on the Bible and Christian faith. And the best part is you’ll be hearing directly from the author’s themselves!!—either a 10 minute audio clip or a blog post where they tell us what the book is about, why it matters to them, and what they want their readers to get out of it.

We are super excited about this feature and we know you are too! We just do.

Today’s author is Brad Jersak and the book is IN: Incarnation & Inclusion, Abba & Lamb. He addresses the difficulty in balancing what he describes as “Christ’s one-of-a-kind revelation” and “Abba’s all-inclusive love.” Jersak looks to both Scripture and Christ as he writes on these two concepts.
