I know how hard it is to control yourself at times like this, but the paperback edition of The Sin of Certainty is coming out in just a few days—April 4, to be exact.

Q. But Pete, I already own the hardcover version. Several copies in fact. Should I also buy one or more of the paperback version?

A. Deep down, I think you know.

Q. Have any changes been made in this version?

A. You mean, besides the change in cover density? And it’s cheaper?

Q. Actually, I checked, and it’s not cheaper.

A.  But it’s cute and tiny. Look.

Q. It IS cute and tiny, isn’t it. OK. I’ll buy it.

I’m also pretty sure that HarperOne is running a special offer. The first hundred people who buy the paperback get a new car.
